WHY- Apple created the iPad Mini to create a smaller, thinner, and lighter version of the iPad.

I thought the article was interesting because it convinced me that the iPad Mini has more features and that it is a better, faster, lighter, smaller, and thinner version of the iPad. I liked how the article compared the iPad to the iPad Mini. I didn’t like how the author started talking about the family of Macs.

This article relates to Information Technology because the iPad Mini requires internet and comes with search engines that allows you to re- search. It also relates to information technology because to create the iPad mini you have to do a lot of re-search and you have to gather a lot of information. Also the ipad mini has lots of cool apps that allow you to edit, change, and style many things.

WHY- To re- imagine the world with Windows 8.

I found it interesting that the article talked about Ballmer and if he would be wrong about Windows 8. I didn’t like how the article stated previous versions of Windows.  I also did not like how Michael Liedtke started to talk about the apple company.

This article relates to Information Technology because Windows 8 is a computer operating software. Also because Windows 8 is featured in computers.

"SixthSense Technology"

WHO- Pranav Mistry is a PhD learner and a graduate of IIT he created a SixthSense device.
WHAT - The SixthSence is a device that you can wear. It is capable of interactions between the world and its data.
WHEN- November, 2009.
WHERE- The SixthSense device was created at MIT’s Media Lab.
WHY- The SixthSense technology was created to interact with the real world with a physical sense.
How- The SixthSense technology is worn on your fingers and is used by hand gestures.

I found the technology really interesting, it’s like all you could ever want. I also found it interesting that the SixthSense can be worn on your fingertips and that it works with gestures. How cool is that! The SixthSense is related to information technology because to create it you need to do lots of research also because it’s physical and digital technology.

Yves Rossy made a wing that you can steer with the movements of your body. A four model jet turbine engine powers the wing.

Yves Rossy flied right above the Grand canyon, Swiss Alps, and The Colorado River. He landed in England.

Yves Rossy wanted to change the vector and he wanted to have some freedom.

HOW

This is related to Information Technology because they use a air timer and a jetpack. I found the device really interesting because it gives you the feeling of freedom, its like a dream. I also found it interesting that when Yves Rossy flied through clouds he lost control and speed.
